Flashback Friday: Death of Princess Margaret

February 9, 2002: Members of the public read the announcement hanging on the gates of Buckingham Palace that Princess Margaret, sister of Queen Elizabeth II, had died earlier that morning at the age of 71. The Princess had suffered a stroke and died at 6:30am, local time, at King Edward VII Hospital in London.

Princess Margaret’s Will To Remain Sealed, Judge Rules

The President of the Family Division of the High Court, Sir James Munby, has ruled that the late Princess Margaret’s will is to remain sealed, quashing an application by an individual claiming to be the Princess’s illegitimate daughter.
