Silvia Joined By Carl Philip and Sofia at Opening of “The Lilian Look!” Exhibition

Queen Silvia of Sweden was joined by her son, Prince Carl Philip, and his wife, Princess Sofia, at the opening of the “Designs for a Princess – The Lilian Look!” exhibition. The exhibition is being held at the Pillared Hall at the Royal Palace of Stockholm and features around 30 different outfits, dresses and handbags used at various official events by Princess Lilian over a period of 30 years.

Princess Lilian Farewelled in Stockholm

Princess Lilian, Duchess of Halland was yesterday farewelled in a simple funeral service at the Royal Palace Chapel in Stockholm. Turkish President Pays State Visit to Sweden

The President of Turkey, Abdullah Gül, has paid the first state visit to Sweden by a Turkish President this week, arriving in Stockholm on Sunday. Funeral of Princess Lilian Scheduled for March 16

Following yesterday’s sad announcement that Princess Lilian had passed away peacefully, the Swedish Royal Court today revealed plans for her funeral. Princess Lilian has Alzheimer’s Disease

The Swedish Royal Court has revealed that Princess Lilian, the 94-year-old widow of King Carl XVI Gustaf’s uncle Prince Bertil, has Alzheimer’s Disease. The aunt of Sweden’s King Carl Gustaf XVI fell in her Stockholm home Monday, and was rushed to the hospital.
