Princess Irene Sells Villa

Princess Irene of The Netherlands sold her villa Marienhoeve in Wijk bij Duurstede. The house was only for sale for a few months. The princess wanted to live closer to her children and grand children and has moved to Wassenaar near The Hague. Dutch Royal Honor the ‘Soldier of Orange’

Various members of the Dutch royal family attended the premiere of the muscial ‘Soldaat van Oranje’ (soldier of Orange) at a special theatre on the former militairy airport of Valkenburg. The musical is based on the WWII memories of Erik Hazelhoff-Roelfzema (1917-2007), a Dutch RAF pilot and spy. Princesses Máxima and Laurentien of The Netherlands had several public engagements during the last two days. On Tuesday night, princess Máxima visited the new Culturalis Theater in the Schilderswijk in The Hague. The Culturalis is an amateur theater for young people.
