As every year, the Norwegian Royal Family watched the World Cup Ski Jumping at Holmenkollen in Oslo on March 11th, 2012. King Harald and Queen Sonja attended the opening of the exhibition “Royal Journeys 1905-2005” at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Oslo on February 15th, 2012. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Märtha Louise and Princess Astrid were also in attendance. Princess Astrid’s 80th Birthday

Today, Princess Astrid celebrates her 80th birthday. In honour of the occasion, King Harald and Queen Sonja will host a gala banquet at the Royal Palace. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Märtha Louise will attend as well. On May 30th Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg arrived in Oslo for a three-days State Visit to Norway. State Visit from Lithuania

The President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė, is currently on a two-day State Visit to Norway.
