Last weekend, members of the Romanian Royal Family celebrated the Romanian Orthodox Church’s Easter on May 1st with various colourful and religious events. Prince Charles on Private Visit to Romania

The Prince of Wales is currently on a private visit to Romania, where he has launched a new foundation, The Prince of Wales’ Foundation Romania. Garden Party at the Elisabeta Palace to Celebrate “King’s Day”

On Sunday May 10, members of the Romanian Royal Family hosted a garden party at the Elisabeta Palace in Bucharest to celebrate what is sometimes called “King’s Day”, the day that Romania’s first monarch, King Carol I, was crowned in 1881. Chocolate Named After Romanian Royals

Crown Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania have had a chocolate range named after them by one of the official suppliers to the Royal House. Three new lines of chocolate – ‘HRH Princess Margarita’, ‘HRH Prince Radu’ and ‘Peles Castle’ – were launched during a presentation at the Elisabeta Palace today. The Prince of Wales made a five-day private visit to one of his favourite places, Transylvania. Prince Charles owns a property there and supports traditional farming method in Transylvania, which he calls “the jewel in Romania’s crown”. Just days ago it emerged that the support ratings of Prince Radu’s presidential campaign hit double digits for the first time.
