Happy National Day from Sweden!

The royal court has kicked off National Day celebrations by releasing series of pictures of Crown Princess Victoria and her two children, Princess Estella and Prince Oscar. The series of pictures taken outdoors were by photographer Kate Gabor.

Official Portraits of Prince Oscar’s Christening Released

A series of official portraits from Prince Oscar’s christening on Friday has been released by the Swedish Royal Court this morning. The photos were taken at the Royal Palace in Stockholm after the ceremony by Anna Lena Ahlstrom. Several compositions were taken, including one of the Crown Princess Family, with the godparents, with grandparents and one of just the King with his eldest daughter and her two children. The christening of Prince Oscar was held at the Palace Chapel of the Royal Palace of Stockholm earlier today, in front of a crowd of family and friends. Three Royals As Godparents for Prince Oscar

The Swedish Royal Court has announced the godparents of little Prince Oscar ahead of his christening tomorrow. Oscar’s godparents are Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Oscar Magnuson and Hans Åström. The Royal Palace of Stockholm has released some details about the chritening of Prince Oscar, which will be held on the 27th of May. Prince Oscar To Be Christened On May 27

The Swedish Royal Court has announced that Prince Oscar, the month-old son of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, will be christened on May 27. The christening will take place at the Royal Chapel of the Royal Palace of Stockholm. Further details will be announced in due course. Prince Oscar was born on March 2 and is the Crown Princess Couple’s second child.

Introducing Little Prince Oscar

The Swedish Royal Court has released the first photograph of newborn Prince Oscar, son of the Crown Princess Couple. Wrapped up snug in a cream knitted blanket, the young Prince, born on March 2, sleeps soundly as his debut photograph is taken at Haga Palace.

Te Deum and Congratulations For Prince Oscar

The birth of prince Oscar has lead to a stream of congratulations for his parents and his big sister. In the afternoon there was a gun salute of 21 canon shots in Stockholm. Crown Princess Victoria has given birth to a baby boy yesterday. The baby was born at 20:28 at the Karolinska Institut in Solna. The small prince weighs 3,655 kg.
