Today, Tuesday July 6, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima started their second day in Germany by visiting the Reichstag, headquarted of the Bundestag, the German parliament, in Berlin. Dutch State Visit to Germany Begins

Today, Monday July 5, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima started a three-day state visit to Germany accompanied by several Ministers. Upon their arrival the Royal Couple was officially welcomed by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife, Elke Büdenbender at Bellevue Palace with a military guard of honour. German President Lunches With Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace

Queen Elizabeth II was joined by the Duke of Cambridge on Tuesday as she welcomed the President of Germany to Buckingham Palace for a private luncheon. The Queen and her grandson greeted President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender in the Grand Entrance, before lunch in the 1844 Room. Later in the day, the Queen received the French and Jordanian ambassadors.
