More Stepping Up: Prince William Meets Kenyan President, Holds Investiture

Continuing his recent increase in stately duties, the Duke of Cambridge today welcomed the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, to Buckingham Palace for an audience. Joining the pair was the Kenyan First Lady, Margaret Wnjiru Gakou. Later in the day, Prince William hosted an investiture at the Palace where he presented various honours to people from all sectors of Britain. Prince William Meets Kenyan President Ahead of Old Friend’s Wedding

The Duke of Cambridge has had an audience with the President of Kenya, Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, at the State House in Nairobi. The pair discussed Kenya’s efforts in fighting the illegal trafficking and poaching of wildlife in the country, as well as defence and security matters.
