The Swedish Royal Court has released a series of new portraits of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia taken to mark the King’s fortieth year on the throne this coming September. Princess Mathilde Turns 40

The Duchess of Brabant, Princess Mathilde, today celebrates her fortieth birthday. To mark her milestone birthday, the Belgian Royal Court issued a series of new portraits of Mathilde and her family. In conjunction with the opening of an exhibition on her birth and christening, the Swedish Royal Court has released a series of new photographs of Princess Estelle. The series of photographs, taken by Kate Gabor, shows the almost eight-month-old infant in the grounds of Haga Palace with her parents, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. New Official Portrait of Queen Elizabeth Unveiled

A new portrait of the Queen to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee has been unveiled in Australia. Painted by Australian-born artist Ralph Heimans, it depicts the Queen in the Sacrarium of Westminster Abbey. Crown Princess Mary yesterday unveiled a new portrait during an event on Children’s Aid Day. As patron of Børnehjælpsdagen, the Children’s Aid Foundation, the Princess unveiled a portrait of herself painted by Romero Britto. Photos of Denmark’s Little Princess Released

The Danish Royal Court has published the long-awaited photographs of Denmark’s newest royal – the infant daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. The series of photographs, taken at Schackenborg Palace by Steen Brogaard, feature the little princess with her parents and older brothers, Princes Nikolai, Felix and Henrik. The infant was born on January 24th, and will be christened on May 20th.

The British Royal Court has published two new portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Queen’s accession, which occurs tomorrow, February 6th.
