King Willem-Alexander and Princess Margriet Receive the Dutch Paralympic Winners

Yesterday, Tuesday September 7, King Willem-Alexander, along with his aunt Princess Margriet, received the Netherlands’ Paralympic winner at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague. The Royals and the athletes posed for the photos in the courtyard of the Palace. The Dutch Paralympic athletes won 25 gold medals, 17 silver and 17 bronze. Prince Harry Donates To Help Rio Children Attend Paralympic Games

Prince Harry has made a personal donation to the #FillTheSeats campaign that is working to purchase 10,000 tickets to the Rio Paralympic Games – which begin September 7 – for children from the capital city. Prince Edward is in Canada this week, paying a brief visit with the primary purpose of handing out Duke of Edinburgh awards. Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz of Belgium attended the International Paralympic Competition organized by the non-profit-making association “Quadrille” in Moorsele on Sunday 19 April, at the riding school “Zilveren Spoor” (the Silver Spur).
