In a ceremony at the Palais de Beaulieu in Lausanne, Switzerland on Wednesday, Crown Princess Margareta of Romania became a naturalised Swiss citizen. Dutch Government Remains Silent About Queen Beatrix’s Nationality

The Dutch government refuses to say anything about a possible double nationality of Queen Beatrix. This becomes clear in a letter of minister Eberhard van der Laan (Labour) to Green-Left parliamentarian Tofik Dibi.
