The 18th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, Michael Fergus Bowes-Lyon, died on Saturday in London at the age of 58 after a long battle with cancer. He was a first cousin once removed of Queen Elizabeth, his father Fergus was one of the Queen Mother’s nephews (Michael served as one of the Queen Mother’s Pages during the 1970s).
