Flashback Friday: The Romanians Make a State Visit to Britain
May 12, 1924: Romania’s King Ferdinand and Queen Marie (born a Princess of Edinburgh) upon their arrival to the Port of Dover for their state visit to the United Kingdom, as part of a diplomatic tour of Western Europe. They were guests of Marie’s first cousin, King George V.
