Prince Félix of Luxembourg and his bride, Claire Lademacher, were yesterday wed in a religious ceremony at the Basilique Sainte Marie-Madeleine in Saint-Maximin-La-Sainte-Baume. The Roman Catholic wedding mass was celebrated by the Archbishop of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Hollerich; the Apostolic Nuncio of Guatemala, Archbishop Nicolas Thévenin; and the Bishop of Fréjus-Toulon, Dominique Rey. The couple chose to say their vows in two languages, French and German. Luxembourg’s Prince Félix today married his German-born fiancée, Claire Lademacher, in a civil ceremony in the bride’s hometown. Taking place at the Villa Rotschild in Königstein im Taunus, a town in the state of Hesse, the civil ceremony began at 12:30pm. The Luxembourg Grand Ducal Court yesterday announced that Prince Félix and his fiancée, Claire Lademacher, have set a wedding date – September 21. The couple’s religious wedding ceremony will take place on September 21, at the Sainte Marie-Madeleine de Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume Basilica in the south-east of France.
