Alongside 22,000 others, Luxembourg’s Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie were today present at the commemorations marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Mauthausen Concentration Camp in Austria. The Hereditary Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg were present for commemorations that mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the north-eastern town of Vianden on Thursday night. Queen Beatrix and Prince Philip Honour Liberation of Nijmegen

HM Queen Beatrix and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh yesterday commemorated the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Dutch city of Nijmegen from German occupation during World War II.
