Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima celebrated today, February 2nd, their 20th wedding anniversary. The engagement of the then Crown Prince Willem-Alexander to Máxima Zorreguieta was announced on March 30, 2001, by Queen Beatrix, and Prince Claus. Yesterday, Tuesday September 7, King Willem-Alexander, along with his aunt Princess Margriet, received the Netherlands’ Paralympic winner at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague.
