On November 18, Queen Beatrix,Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima have received the new President of Germany, Christian Wulff. President Wulff was received at Noordeinde Palace. Afterwards, the Queen has offered a lunch. In the afternoon Wulff met Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the prime minister’s residence in The Hague.

On November 10, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima had a meeting with the new Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, at Villa Eikenhorst. The new Prime Minister was invited by the royal couple for an introductory visit. Rutte was received previously by Queen Beatrix on October 14th at Huis ten Bosch, the day he officially became the Dutch Prime Minister. Queen Beatrix then received the new cabinet.
