The Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and his wife Clio started a three-day State Visit to the Netherlands on October 23. Reception for Members of the IOC at Buckingham Palace

The Monarch invited IOC representatives from around the world to Buckingham Palace to welcome them to London. The Dutch Royal Family yesterday celebrated the official birthday of Queen Beatrix, Koninginnedag, in the towns of Rhenen and Veenendaal. Queen Beatrix was joined by two of her sons and daughters-in-law, her sister, and nephews and their wives for the festivities. Dutch Crown Prince Buys Property in Greece

The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima have bought a villa in Doroufi, west of Kranidi, Greece. The villa was purchased for €4.5million from German photographer Manfred Rieker, and features a swimming pool, alongside a private beach and marina. It sits on a four-thousand square metre estate. Like every year the Dutch Royal Family was present at the National Volunteer Day, NL DOET, on March 16 and 17, 2012. On March 16, Queen Beatrix, Princess Margriet, Prince Bernhard, Princess Annette, Prince Floris and Princess Aimée helped the foundation Assistance Dog in Molenschot.
