Sixty-five years ago royal Europe gathered on May 10th 1951 in Nancy, France, to witness the wedding of Archduke Otto of Austria, head of the imperial family, to Princess Regina of Saxe-Meiningen. The couple married in the Franciscan church of The Cordeliers, where 20 generations of the dukes of Lorraine, anscestors of Archduke Otto, are burried. Funeral of Archduchess Regina

The funeral of HI&RH Archduchess Regina of Austria, Princess of Hungary, took place yesterday morning, at 10.30am, at the Parish Church of St. Pius in Pöcking, Bavaria. The Archduchess died last Wednesday in Villa Austria, in Pöcking, the home where she lived since 1954 with her husband, Archduke Otto, the eldest son and heir of Emperor Karl I and Empress Zita of Austria. Newspaper ‘Die Presse’ has released some more details about the upcoming funeral of Archduchess Regina of Austria, who died yesterday morning in Pöcking, Bavaria at the age of 85. Archduchess Regina Passed Away

Archduchess Regina of Austria, wife of the head of the Austrian imperial family, Archduke Otto, has died this morning in the family house in Pöcking near the Lake Starnberg in Bavaria, Germany.  The 85 year old archduchess died peacefully at 08.40 AM, with several members of the family present, according to a spokesperson of the family.
