Empress Farah Pahlavi of Iran hosted a small celebration to mark the Persian New Year, Nowrouz, yesterday at her home in Washington, D.C. Prince Reza, his wife Yasmine and their daughters Noor, Iman and Farah, Princess Farahnaz and Raha Didevar and her daughter with the late Prince Alireza, Iryana, were all present for the celebration.

Last week Prince Reza Pahlavi, Iran’s former Crown Prince, gave an interview to British newspaper The Daily Telegraph. Reza Pahlavi backed a campaign of “civil disobedience and non-violence” to change the Iran’s government.
