March 10, 1960: Sitting on a sled outside her house in Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Dolomitic Alps, Princess Ira von Fürstenberg poses for a photograph with her two sons: Prince Christoph, 3, and Prince Hubertus, 13 months, zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Later that year, Ira and her husband, Prince Alfonso zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, were divorced. Their marriage was annulled by papal dispensation in 1969.

Vanity Fair dedicated an article to the three daughters of the ‘Miller sisters’: Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece, Isabel Getty and Princess Talita von Fürstenberg, daughters of Marie Chantal, Pia and Alexandra Miller respectively. The Hereditary Prince and Princess zu Fürstenberg have welcomed a daughter named Maria Cecilia. She was born yesterday March 11 at 12:55pm, and her full name is Maria Cecilia Massimiliana Ghislaine Pauline Odile Eva Fabrizia Egonia. According to a spokesperson, mother and baby are both health and doing well. Death of Princess Amelie of Fürstenberg

Princess Amelie of Fürstenberg passed away yesterday, following surgery at the Villingen-Schwenningen Hospital. The Princess was 66. She was born in April 1948, the eldest of six children born to Joachim Egon, Fürst of Fürstenberg and Countess Paola zu Königsegg-Aulendorf. She never married, and has suffered from ill health for a number of years. Introducing Prince Tassilo zu Fürstenberg

The Hereditary Prince and Princess zu Fürstenberg have introduced their newborn son in a photograph released to the German media. Prince Tassilo Heinrich Christian was born on December 24th, and is the couple’s first child. Prince Christian and Princess Jeanette were married in September 2010. The photograph was taken at Schloss Heiligenberg, the family seat of the zu Fürstenbergs in Donaueschingen.
