Countess of Wessex Marks 70th Anniversary of the Channel Islands’ Liberation

On behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, the Countess of Wessex attended a commemoration during the seventieth anniversary of the liberation of the Channel Islands on May 9. The Countess of Wessex delivered her speech at Footes Lane and watched a military parade and attended an open air church service. Edward and Sophie Continue to Charm the People of Guernsey

Earl and Countess of Wessex Visit Guernsey

Le Viaer Marchi, which translates as “the old market”, is an annual event on the island of Guernsey. It has been held for the past 30 years, but this year was a special year, as the event welcomed royal visitors, the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
