Monaco’s Prince Albert hit the 21km stretch of water between Nice and Monaco on Sunday as part of the inaugural Riviera Water Bike Challenge, held to raise money for the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco. The Princess of Monaco is currently in South Africa, her home country, for a five-day visit in connection with the South African Red Cross Society and the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco. On Friday, she visited the Gugulesizwe Primary School in Daveyton where she helped the SA Red Cross – of which Charlène has been patron since last year – provide first aid and CPR demonstrations to teachers and students.
