Floral Benedikte Opens Flower Festival

Princess Benedikte was pretty in floral and fuchsia yesterday when she opened the seventh annual Nordfyns Rose Festival in Bogense. State Visit from Turkey to the Netherlands – Last Day

The last day of the State Visit started on April 19 with a visit to Floriade in Venlo. Floriade is an international exhibition of flowers and gardening. The Queen, The President of Turkey and his wife were welcomed by Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. On Wednesday March 23, the German President, Christian Wulff, and his wife Bettina made a visit to Netherlands. Beatrix opens Keukenhof Flower Exhibition

Queen Beatrix yesterday opened the 60th edition of the International Flower Exhibition Keukenhof in Lisse. The Queen officially opened the event by baptising the new Spring Garden tulip.
