King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway attended the Christmas Service in Holmenkollen Chapel today. They were accompanied by Emma Tallulah Behn, their youngest grandchild and daughter of Princess Märtha Louise and the late Ari Behn. Statue of Queen Sonja Unveiled in Park of Royal Palace

One of Queen Sonja’s 80th birthday gifts was unveiled today in the park of the Royal Palace of Oslo: she received a bronze statue of herself from the Norwegian Tourist Association. It depicts the Queen, an avid hiker and nature person, sitting on a rock with her hiking backpack open next to her. Norwegian Royals Mark Silver Jubilee in Trondheim

The Norwegian Royal Family has celebrated the 25th anniversary of King Harald’s consecration in Trondheim, the city where the ceremony took place back in 1991. Jubilee Park Opened in Oslo By Royal Grandchildren

Four of King Harald and Queen Sonja’s grandchildren today were on hand to help open the Jubilee Park at Dronningparken which sits in the grounds of the Royal Palace of Oslo. Happy Constitution Day to Norway

On May 17th, Norway celebrated it’s National Day. As usual the Norwegian royal family appeared in traditional outfits to look at several children’s parades. The christening of Emma Tallulah Behn, the youngest daughter of Princess Martha Louise, took place on January 20th 2009.
