The Royal Saudi Court announced on Saturday the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, deputy premier and interior minister. The 79-year-old Saudi Crown Prince, who died in Geneva, left Saudi Arabia last month for scheduled medical check-ups abroad. The Saudi press agency reported this Saturday that Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud left the Kingdom on a private vacation abroad for scheduled medical tests. Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minster Prince Nayef has been appointed as second Deputy Prime Minister, third in the political hierarchy after King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his brother and Defence Minister Prince Sultan.
