Today, Tuesday February 25, the Dutch Royal Family attended the traditional photo session in the Austrian skiing resort of Lech to mark the start of their winter holiday. As Honorary Chairman of the Reading and Writing Foundation, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien attended a books reading event at the theme park “Efteling”, yesterday Saturday October 1st. Princess Laurentien Brings Her Family to Her Book Launch

Yesterday, Wednesday May 11, Princess Laurentien presented a a new book. The princess co-authored the book with  Jeroen Smit, a Dutch journalist and Professor of Journalism at the University of Groningen.The Princess was accompanied by her husband, Prince Constantijn and their three children: Eloise, Claus-Casimir and Leonore. This morning the Dutch Royal Family posed for the press during their traditional winter holidays in Lech, Austria. The King and his family were accompanied by Princess Beatrix and by Prince Constantijn and his family. Prince Constantijn & Family To Return To The Hague

The RVD (Dutch Government Information Service) has announced that Prince Constantijn and his family will be moving back to The Hague this coming summer. The reason for the move is because of the increasing amount of work both the Prince and his wife, Princess Laurentien, are undertaking in the Netherlands. Princess Laurentien Presents Her New Book

On Sunday October 5th, Princess Laurentien presented her new fairytale book written along with the children’s author Paul van Loon. The presentation took place at the theme park “Efteling”. De Sprookjessprokkelaar, the title of the book, is about a fairy tale library situated in an old, abandoned castle. The book teaches the importance of reading and reading aloud.
