Count Carl Johan Bernadotte, uncle of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, has passed away at the age of 95. The news was announced several hours ago by the Swedish Royal Court. The Count passed away yesterday, May 5th. A memorial concert was held on August 30th at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, to mark the 100th anniversary of the late Queen Ingrid’s birth.
