Duchess Donata of Oldenburg Has Passed Away
It was announced yesterday that Duchess Donata of Oldenburg, the mother of Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia, has died after a long illness. She died on Saturday September 5. According to the statement released by her family, the Duchess died at a hospital in Traunstein, aged 65. The nature of her illness was not disclosed. On January 21st Count Christian of Castell-Rüdenhausen passed away after a long illness at the age of 57. Count Christian will be burried tomorrow. Since 1982 the count lived in the castle of Twickel in Delden, The Netherlands. He inherited the castle from a great aunt, the last lady of Twicke, baroness Marie van Heeckeren van Wassenaer.
