As she has done since her brother took the throne in 2013, Princess Astrid of Belgium will again undertake two economic visits in conjunction with the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency this year. The Dutch Royal Court announced this morning that Jorge Zorreguieta, the father of Queen Maxima, passed away on August 8th in Buenos Aires. He had been suffering from a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma for some time. The Queen was in Buenos Aires alongside her mother and siblings for her father’s last moments.
