Memorial Service Held at Săvârşin

Crown Princess Margareta of Romania and her husband, Prince Radu, attended a memorial service at the Orthodox Church in Săvârşin yesterday in memory of Queen Anne who died last week.  Dressed in mourning, the royal couple took their places solemnly amongst the rest of the congregation inside the ornate church. Queen Anne of Romania Passes Away

Queen Anne of Romania has passed away at the age of 92, the Romanian Royal Family has announced today. She passed away at 13:45 local time August 1 at the hospital in Morges, Switzerland with four of her daughters by her bedside. Former King’s Health Stable But Worrying

A Report regarding the health of former King Michael I of Romania has been issued on the royal family’s official website today. Mihai I, seen here back in January with his eldest daughter and Custodian of the Crown, Crown Princess Margarita, has spend the last five days in a Swiss hospital being treated for cancer.  The report states that the king’s condition is stable but that he is severely weak.
