Death of the Emir of Kuwait
Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad Al-Jaber, Emir of Kuwait since 2020, died at the age of 86 on December 16, 2023. The small state in the Persian Gulf announced the death of its head of state this Saturday, after several days of speculation regarding the health of the sovereign.
