Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway were present when the government received the Norwegian squad who participated in the Special Olympics World Games of Berlin this summer. The Crown Princely couple had the opportunity to talk to the athletes and hear about their experiences in Germany. The Norwegian athletes participated in handball, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, bowling, riding, athletics, judo, swimming, golf and badminton.

Hereditary Prince Philip and Hereditary Princess Danica of Serbia became the parents a daughter, Princess Marija, today at 12:31PM. The girl wasborn in Belgrade. The couple already has a son, Prince Stefan (5), who was born in 2018. Princess Marija is the first girl to be born in the main line of the family since 1884.
