No official celebrations for his birth are expected in Monaco until National Day, but the small country’s Sovereign is celebrating his 51st birthday today. His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended Monaco’s annual Sainte-Dévote events on January 26 and 27, 2009. Saint Dévote, Monaco’s patron Saint and special protector of the Sovereign Family was born in the 4th Century in Corsica. 33rd International Circus Festival – Monte-Carlo

The 33rd International Circus Festival Monte-Carlo concluded January 25, 2009 with awards presented by Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie. The festival included more than 15 performances (one more than previous years) and included appearances by the Princess and her children.
