The Danish, Swedish and Spanish Royal families and the Luxembourgian Grand Ducal family are among her favourite families. She is also interested in historical royals and in the genealogy of reigning and Non-reigning Imperial, Royal, Princely and Ducal families.

In January, Prince Manuel and Princess Anna of Bavaria, neé Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, had their second child and first daughter, Princess Alva.
