Princess Robijn is a student from the Netherlands who became interested in Royalty in 2001, with the engagement of the Prince of Orange and Máxima Zorreguieta. The Danish, Swedish and Spanish Royal families and the Luxembourgian Grand Ducal family are among her favourite families. She is also interested in historical royals and in the genealogy of reigning and Non-reigning Imperial, Royal, Princely and Ducal families.

Queen Sirikit of Thailand, née Mom Rajawongse Sirikit Kitiyakara, celebrates her 80th birthday today, 12 August. The Queen was born as the oldest daughter and third child of Prince Nakkhatra Mangkala Kitiyakara, Prince of Chanthaburi, and Mom Luang Bua Sanidvongs. Her siblings are the late Mom Rajawongse Galyanakit Kitiyakara, Mom Rajawongse Adulyakit Kitiyakara and Mom Rajawongse Busba Kitiyakara.
