Queen Margrethe II’s Christmas at Marselisborg

The Danish court shared a photo of Queen Magrethe II at Marselisborg Castle near Aarhus lighting the fourth candle of Advent. The Danish monarch will be celebrating Christmas with her two sons and their families. Last night she attended the christmas eve service in the cathedral of Aarhus and this morning the morning service with Crown prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Count Felix, Count Henrik and Countess Athena. Count Nikolai is celebrating christmas in Australia with his girlfriend Benedikte.
