Queen Máxima Awards The Cultural Fund Prize

Today, Monday November 20, Her Majesty Queen Máxima presented the Cultural Fund Prize at the Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam.
This year the award went to Female Economy, a theater collective founded 25 years ago by the actress Adelheid Roosen.
Female Economy was awarded because this theater collective “gives the word connection real meaning, by bringing people from everywhere together in unexpected places and involving them as participants or audiences in fantastic performances.”
The prize of the Cultural Fund Prize is amount of 100,000 euros.
The Cultural Fund Prize is awarded to individuals or institutions that have made success in the field of music, theater, dance, visual arts, history, literature, heritage, cultural or nature conservation.
