Norwegian Royals Host Gala for Members of the Storting
Yesterday the Norwegian Royal Family attended a gala dinner at the Royal Palace in Oslo in honor of the members of the Norwegian parlament -or Storting. Due to a COVID infection King Harald V was absent. The King asked his son Crown Prince Haakon therefore to read the speech for him. The dinner was also attended by Queen Sonja, wearing Queen Maud’s pearl tiara, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, wearing the amythists and Princess Astrid of Norway.
On the menu: beet carpaccio, Västerbotten cheese, salad, chive mayonnaise, marinated pumpkin scallops, tomato broth, venison, plum tart, pumpkin, Brussels sprouts, currant roll cake from the royal estate of Bygdø , Mågerø rose, white chocolate.
