Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine Attend Childhood Foundation Gala in New York

Queen Silvia of Sweden, her daughter Princess Madeleine and her son-in-law Chris O’Neill attended a gala for the World Childhood Foundation in New York City. The Childhood Gala is one of the foundation’s main fundraising vehicles. The event helped to raise 1 million dollars for the charity. The minimum cost of the evening is 1000 dollars. A table near Queen Silvia will cost $100,000.

Earlier in the day the Queen and her youngest daughter attended a meeting with the UN Special Envoy on Violence Against Children (SRSG VAC) and Childhood USA.
