Princess Elisabeth is sworn in as an Officer

Yesterday, Tuesday September 26, Princess Elisabeth took the oath as an officer at the Royal Military School together with 95 fellow students. 
The ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.
Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, along with their children, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eléonore, were among the present at the ceremony while Prince Gabriel took part in the ceremony as a student of the Royal Military Academy.
The Princess took the oath in the three national languages: Dutch, French and German saying: “I swear loyalty to the king, obedience to the constitution and the laws of the Belgian people”. 
Princess Elisabeth, who is currently studying History and Politics at Lincoln College in Oxford, joined the Royal Military Academy in August 2020.
