King Carl XVI Gustav Celebrates 77th Birthday

On Sunday 30 April, the Swedish monarch was congratulated on his birthday – in keeping with tradition – by the Swedish Armed Forces and the public in the Outer Courtyard at the Royal Palace

As usual the King was joined by other members of his family . The Queen, Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar were looking to the ceremonies from a newly constructed balcony. joining them were Princess Sofia and her three sons. Prince Carl Philip stayed next to his father in the courtyard.
