Swedish Crown Princess Couple’s Official Visit to Australia Ends in Sydney

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel today, Wednesday February 15, spent the third and last day of the official visit to Australia in Sydney.
In the morning the Royal Couple attended the Sweden-Australia Sustainable Mining Summit, focused on “safe and smart Swedish solutions in the mining industry”.
Then the Crown Princess and the Prince toured the Sydney Opera House accompanied by the director of the Opera House, Louise Herron, and then, outside the theater, posed for the traditional photos.
The following visit was at the naval base HMAS Kuttabul. The Royal Couple, accompanied by the Rear Admiral Smith, toured the warship HMAS Adelaide and had lunch on board.
In the afternoon Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel paid a visit to the Royal Botanic Garden.
Afterwards the Royal Couple visited the St Vincent’s Hospital. During the visit they were informed about the involvement of the Swedish companies in the field of oncology and cancer treatment.
In late afternoon Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel met with the Australian women’s football team and its Swedish coach, Tony Gustafsson.
The official visit to Australia ended with a reception held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney for Swedish Australians and members of the Swedish-Australian Chamber of Commerce.
