Official Visit to the Dutch Caribbean: Curaçao – Day Two

Today, Thursday February 2nd, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima and the Princess of Orange started the second day in Curaçao with a walk from Pontjesbrug to Brión Square. During the walk they stopped at the Punda Love Heart sculpture where the King and the Queen, to mark their 21st wedding anniversary, clipped a padlock to the sculpture. 
Arrived in Brión Square, the King gave the starting signal for the registration of the King’s Games, a sporty initiative for all primary school students. Then the Royal Couple and the Princess paid a visit to Otrobanda, historic quarters of the capital Willemstad, to meet with residents and artists.
At lunchtime took place a luncheon hosted by the government.
In the afternoon the King, the Queen and the Princess visited the Punda district where the King minted a coin on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Willemstad as a UNESCO World Heritage city. Then they visited the Scharloo district, famous for its murales and street art, music and sports projects for young people.
Later the Royal Couple and the Princess visited the Princess Amalia Bridge where took place a musical performance.
The second day in Curaçao ended with a dinner held at the Cathedral of Doornen
