British Royals Attend Festival of Remembrance and Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cenotaph

This weekend the British Royal Family took part in the ceremonies of Remembrance Day. This was the first Remembrance weekend since the death of Queen Elisabeth and the first presieded by King Charles. 
On Saturday evening, November 12, King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Princess Royal and Tim Lawrence, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, attended the Festival of Remembrance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The Remembrance Festival is hosted by Royal British Legion and dedicated to “all those that have served and sacrificed from Britain and the Commonwealth”.
During the Remembrance Festival there was a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth. The Queen was patron of the Royal British Legion and the longest serving Commander-in-Chief of the British Armed Forces.
On Sunday morning, November 13, members of the royal family attended the annual Remembrance commemorative service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.
The King led the laying wreath ceremony of red poppies at the base of the Cenotaph followed by the Prince of Wales, the Earl of Wessex and the Princess Royal.
It was laid a wreath also on the Queen’s behalf. 
The Queen, the Princess of Wales, the Countess of Wessex, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent attended the service from the balcony of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office building.
