The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Begin Platinum Jubilee Tour of The Caribbean

To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year, today Saturday March 19, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Belize to begin their eight-day Platinum Jubilee Tour of the Caribbean during which they will also visit Jamaica and The Bahamas.
Upon the arrival at the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport of Belize City, the Duke and the Duchess were welcomed by Governor-General Froyla Tzalam and Amalia Mai, Chief Executive Officer for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Duke inspected the guard of honour and the anthems were played.
Then the Royal couple was received by the Prime Minister of Belize Johnny Briceno and wife Rossana Briceno at the Laing Building.
