Danish Royals Open the Exhibition “Mary & the Crown Princesses”
Today, Monday January 31, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, along with Princess Benedikte and the Count and Countess of Rosenborg, attended the opening of the exhibition: “Mary & the Crown Princesses” at the Koldinghus museum.
This special exhibition, organized to mark the upcoming 50th birthday of Crown Princess Mary, is dedicated to Denmark’s current Crown Princess and her latest four predecessors: the princesses Louise of Hessen-Kassel, Lovisa of Sweden-Norway, Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Ingrid of Sweden.
The exhibition displays, among the others, part of the crown jewels, dresses, accessories and portraits.
The Danish Royals toured the exhibition accompanied by Thomas C. Thulstrup, the museum ‘s director.
The exhibition will be open from tomorrow, February 1st, until December 30, 2022.
