Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway Turns 18

Today, Friday January 21, Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra celebrates her 18th birthday. The Princess, born at Rikshospitalet in Oslo on January 21, 2004, is the first child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and is second in line to the throne following her father and grandfather, King Harald.
The Princess is currently studying at Elvebakken Upper Secondary School in Oslo.
To mark this special birthday the Norwegian Royal Court released some new photos taken in her new office and in the white salon at the Royal Palace in Oslo and a video shared through the Instagram account showing the Princess, along with her parents and her brother, Prince Sverre Magnus, enjoying the snow in the mountains.
Yesterday, on the eve of her birthday, the Princess paid a visit to the Norwegian institutions: Parliament, Supreme Court and Government.
