Last Day in Rome for Victoria & Daniel
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel started today, Tuesday October 19, their second day in Italy, and last in Rome, by visiting the headquarter of Open Fiber accompanied by Minister for Foreign Trade and Nordic Affairs Anna Hallberg .
Open Fiber is an Italian telecommunications company that “deals with the construction, management and maintenance of the fiber optic network”. The Royal Couple also visited the Service Operation Center (SOC), the technological intelligence center from which Open Fiber manages the monitoring and operation of its network throughout the Italian territory.
Then Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel paid a visit to the headquarter of Enel X, a Enel Group company that provides innovative products and services at the service of energy transformation at the domestic, urban and industrial levels. During the visit the Crown Princess tried to charge a car with electricity.
At lunch time the Royal Couple had a working lunch at the Swedish Institute, a reasearch institute subordinate to the Swedish Ministry of Education.
In the afternoon Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel left Rome by train for their next destination: Turin, a city in northern Italy.
