Queen Mathilde Visits Fahion Museum in Antwerp
Today, Friday September 10, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the Mode Museum in Antwerp to mark its reopening after being closed for more than three years due to renovation and expansion works.
The visit started with a round table discussion with members of the fashion sector and it was focused on the impact of the Covid 19 crisis.
Then, accompanied by Kaat Debo, the museum director, the Queen toured the permanent exhibitions which show avant-garde Belgian and international fashion. Queen Mathilde also toured the renovated library and attended a workshop about clothing and textiles.
